Planning

The OPR Staff operates as the staff to the Beaver County Planning Commission Board.

Planning is responsible for the preparation and maintenance of the Beaver County Comprehensive Plan. Planning coordinates Beaver County’s, broadband planning, transportation planning, long-range planning functions, land use environmental management, site plan reviews, zoning reviews, Act 537 reviews and subdivision and land development plan reviews. Planning is responsible for the maintenance and up keep of the Beaver County’s geographic information systems (GIS).

In addition, the Staff also provides planning assistance to municipalities in the areas of comprehensive planning, water resources, zoning and subdivision  regulations.

The Planning Commission  is directed by a Board appointed by the Beaver County Board of Commissioners.

Redevelopment

The OPR Staff operates as the staff to the Redevelopment Authority Board

The Redevelopment Authority is overseen by a Board appointed by the Beaver County Board of Commissioners.
